One person, one voice: how the DAO splits values and money

Values are decided one account, one voice. Money and settings go to staked DRIVE, with delays and a veto. Why the split, and what it cannot stop.

DRIVE 369 DAO

A DAO can fail in two ways. If votes follow money, the richest decide what is right. If anyone can vote any number of times, the vote is fake. Ghostdrive uses two layers so each decision has the rule that suits it.

Two layers

LayerDecidesWho has a voice
Kernel boardValues and norms: what the AI and the network stand forOne account, one voice
DRIVE GovernorTreasury payments, vault committees, timings and the stewardStaked DRIVE, with quorum, timelock and a guardian veto

Values are about people, so each person counts once. Anything that moves value or changes a contract is binding and can be costly to undo, so it is weighted, delayed and can be vetoed.

How one voice is kept to one

A voice on the board belongs to a wallet that has a minimum of DRIVE locked in the staking vault. The board counts accounts, never amounts: 369 or 369,000 locked still gives one voice. Locked tokens cannot move, so the same tokens cannot vote from a second wallet. Unstaking ends the voice at once and frees the tokens after a delay, so the same DRIVE is never counted twice on one vote.

What it does not stop

Someone with ten times the minimum can run ten wallets. That costs real DRIVE for each voice and is visible on chain, but it is not proof of a unique person. A unique-person attestation, such as Ghost ID, can be added later as a second gate without redeploying.

Where it stands

On the testnet the board is open and any wallet has a voice until the vote that turns the stake gate on is executed; that proposal is on the DAO page. The suite's audit is pending. Test DRIVE has no value, and amounts are decided by the DAO and may change.
