Terminal: an AI that remembers, answers from your device
Ask, remember and plan with your own Ghost. It answers from your device, your node or your key, and asks before any text leaves.
DRIVE 369 DAO
Terminal is the front door to your AI. You type or speak to your Ghost, your personal agent, and it answers using your own memory. Nothing about it depends on a Ghostdrive AI server, because there isn't one.

What you do with it
- Ask and remember. Write anything and your Ghost keeps it. Ask later and it finds it by meaning.
- Set goals. Say "my goal: …" and your Ghost drafts the plan.
- Group by project. Keep threads for a company, a film or a client.
- Use commands. Type a slash for commands, or hold Option and Space to talk.
Who answers
Settings decides, in an order you set. The first one that is ready answers: your own node, the Ghostdrive network (off until you turn it on), the private model on this device, or your own API key. A switch, "Never use a remote API", keeps answers on your device and your node, even if a key is set. The first time a place sends text to anything outside your device, a consent prompt asks.
Use case: a person
You dictate a worry about a contract on the way to work. In the evening you ask what the termination clause said and what you meant to check. Your Ghost answers from your own notes, on your device. You never pasted any of it into a chat window owned by someone else.
Use case: a consultant
One project per client. Notes, decisions and drafts stay in that project's threads. When a client leaves, you archive the project. No client's material is mixed with another's, and none of it sits in a vendor's chat history.
How it differs
Chat assistants keep your history on their servers and may change the terms later. Terminal keeps its memory in your sealed vault and lets you choose which model reads it, so you can change the model without losing the memory. With the MCP server, Claude can use the same memory.
Status and limits
Live. A private model that runs in your browser needs a device with WebGPU; without one, point Settings at your node or your own key. Answers from the Ghostdrive network are not end-to-end private, and Terminal says so before you allow them.
