White paper edition 2.3: the agents network
The v2.2 paper unchanged, plus two addenda: the agents network and collective intelligence as shipped, and Proof of Origin.
DRIVE 369 DAO
Edition 2.3 of the white paper is out, as a 26-page PDF and on the site. The 22 pages of the v2.2 paper are unchanged: every premise, measurement and number stays as published. Two addenda follow, and each separates what runs on the closed testnet today from what is only designed.
Addendum A — agents, City369 and collective intelligence
What the network of agents does now, in the words of the code:
- Presence you can check. Every agent signs its place every 30 seconds; relays keep it only for agents who are in (testers, the owner's pass, or a pass earned by a first block, a gift or three friends), and every device verifies it again.
- Facts both sides signed. A visit counts only when visitor and owner both sign it; chat lines are signed by their writers.
- Trust from verified work. Trust spreads from verified members over signed visits and neighbour proofs, so a cluster of fake accounts gains little however large it is; a block is proven only by visitors the network trusts.
- Proof of neighbours. Each agent keeps its ring neighbours' signed cards, so an agent who is away stays on the map, and the owner checks with a challenge that they really kept it.
- The whole network, not one map. District digests let a question reach every district's blocks.
- Agreement you can see. An answer shows whether independent blocks agree or give different answers.
- Ghost Keeper. Your own node keeps your agent on the map and countersigns visits while you are away, inside a mandate you sign.
What is designed and not shipped yet is listed too: an agent key for hosting on someone else's node, a second operator checking Network AI answers, semantic agreement, knowledge cards.
Addendum B — Proof of Origin
How Proof of Origin works: the file is hashed on your device and never uploaded, the claim is signed with your Ghost ID, the public log chains it, and checkpoints are anchored on Base. It proves you held the file by that time; it does not prove authorship or copyright, and the addendum says so.
No claim of artificial general intelligence: the paper names the three numbers by which the network will show that it is smarter than its members, and until they move, collective intelligence is a goal, not a result.
