Calls: video between Ghost IDs, sealed end to end
Peer-to-peer video calls with a waiting room, captions made on your device, recording only if everyone agrees and notes saved to your vault.
DRIVE 369 DAO
Calls are video calls where the people in the call are the only ones who can see and hear them. There is no meeting server in the middle, no time limit and no per-minute meter in the app.

How a call works
- Start a call and send the link. The link carries the call key in the part of the address that browsers never send to a server.
- The host admits people. A waiting room shows each person's name and whether their Ghost ID checks out. Nobody is in until the host lets them in.
- Video and sound go directly between you, up to six people. Every audio and video frame is sealed before it leaves your browser.
- Keys change when people come and go. A newcomer cannot read what was said before they arrived, and someone who leaves cannot read what follows.
What it adds
- Captions made on your own device. Each person's browser transcribes only their own microphone. No audio goes to a transcription service.
- Recording only with everyone's yes. Anyone can ask. Everyone in the call must allow it, and everyone sees a Recording sign while it runs. The file is sealed into the asker's Drive.
- Notes written for you. When you leave, the transcript is saved to your vault. Your own AI then writes the summary, the decisions and the action items, under the consent rules you set.
Use case: a person
You call your parent about their medical letters. Nobody but the two of you can hear it. Afterwards you keep a note of what the doctor said, in your Drive, and you can share it with your sibling by link.
Use case: a company
A founder and an adviser go through a financing term sheet. The call is sealed, the captions never leave their devices, and the action items land in the founder's vault as a note, not in a meeting vendor's archive.
How it differs
Meeting tools route your call through their servers and keep transcripts there. Calls connect people directly, use a relay only when two people cannot reach each other, and keep the record in your own vault. A relay sees only encrypted packets.
Status and limits
Live. Up to six people per call. Calls cost nothing to use today. If two people sit behind strict networks, the call goes through a relay, which only carries sealed data.
